Tarifa Island Adventure is a great combination of culture and sport.
In the morning our guide will take you to the Island. The tour takes approximate two hours. Besides untouched nature on the island you will be shown old necropolis from the “Phoenician-Punic” era, the quarry and ancient cisterns of the “Muslim period”, the Almenara Tower converted into a lighthouse, and more…
After the tour you will have time for a short snack (pic-nic) and then you get ready for the other – the sport’s part of a day. Our guide will supply the wet-suit and snorkel equipment. He will explain the rules of the game and take you the island tour again – this time on the water. The tour of kayaking with snorkeling takes aproximatley 2 hours.
Unfortunately the currents will rarely permit to do the tour around the island. Every route is adapted to the current weather (water and wind) conditions.
The active part of the day is followed by lunch in a typical Spanish way – tapas! The guide will take you to one of the most local restaurants where you can taste and experience most typical food from the area and enjoy yourself surrounded with nice local people from Tarifa!
